Hi! My name is Gerri, I grew up in both Louisiana & Southern Illinois, & have been living life as a Texan since 2011. I’m a single mom of 3 boys, & if you read the post The Adventure Begins, you’ll find out how this blog started, originally as Honey Seeking Mom, & where that name came from.

You will also find lots of writings here from my friend Renee, under the tab Kingdom Seeking, as she was my partner on this site for a couple of years. God has called her in a new direction for ministry, but she will still have some guest posts here from time to time.

God has grown in me a desire & passion to encourage & equip others, especially other single mommas, to live a God-first life, just as He used the church family He planted me in to do. I’m excited for where this journey in following His lead by faith will take us!
