We are here because we want to equip single mothers to live a God first life, & God has given us a vision for how to do that, but like everything in life, that requires money, not only to maintain this website, but to fund our future goals.

When I separated from my ex-husband in the summer of 2015, the financial hole that had been dug by alcohol, marijuana, & gambling addiction was so deep, I was about to lose my car & apartment, with no where to go for my three boys & myself. But God sent help, in several forms. Between my church, my pastors, truly godly friends in my church, & some assistance from Catholic Charities, we kept our home & car, & food & other needs were provided. I wish I had written down every time I was believing God for a need, & someone who had no idea walked up to me with a check, saying God had told them to provide for that specific need! I have so many testimonies of how He helped me through that time of rebuilding my life!

As He sent help in every area needed, the people He used not only gave to help with our physical needs, but they discipled me; they helped me grow in faith; they encouraged & supported me & always kept God at the center of our friendships. I can truly say, these people are my God-family. Because of the solid Word-based teaching of my pastors & the relationships I’ve built with our God-family, I am the woman of faith I am today. I would not be who I am & where I am, without the foundation of the Word that I now have, & without the many ways God used His people to help me. He used them, to equip me to walk my faith walk, living a God first life.

It is for this reason, that God has placed a desire in my heart to help other moms like me, in situations like I had been in, to learn to walk by faith, trusting in Him, & putting Him first in their lives as they watch how He provides & empowers them. He gave me a vision of a property used to house these mothers and their children, if that is their need, & to provide financial assistance & help with food, where needed. Those who receive assistance will be required to sign a contract agreeing to no drugs or alcohol on the property, if they are receiving housing, & will also attend weekly Bible studies, parenting classes, & finance/budgeting classes. We will also hold support group meetings for the mothers to share, support, & encourage each other, & family activities nights to get the whole families involved & having fun together. We want to truly build community with these families.

I can see it so clearly, this is what my heart longs to be doing. Psalm 37:4 says Take delight in the Lord, & he will give you your heart’s desires. (NLT) We often think this verse means that when we delight in Him, He will give us what we desire, but what if we got it wrong? What it really means is, when we delight in Him, He will put new desires in our hearts, desires that are in line with His will for our lives. He gave me this desire, & as my pastor recently said, when God gives us something to do, we don’t have to know the how, we just have to know the why- & the why is, because God told me.

At this point, I’m taking this one step at a time, towards establishing the non-profit organization God has given me the vision for. I have to let you know that, as of right now, it would not be a tax deductible gift, as we have not reached the part where we set up 501-c3 status yet, but we are so very eager to be taking steps in the right direction, because that’s what God has told us to do.
