Made Whole

Today’s post concludes the series about who we are “In Christ.” All that we are in Him, comes together, to make us whole. He completes us. We often hear couples say this to each other, “you complete me,” but the truth is, no one is completed by another human being. The only One in Whom we can find completion is Jesus. It is what He did for us on the cross, that completes us.

Christ is all, & in all (Colossians 3:11). To know His love, is to be filled with the fullness of God- His wisdom, righteousness, holiness, & redemption (Ephesians 3:19, 1 Corinthians 1:30).

In Colossians 2:10, the original Greek text uses the word pleroo, which means that we have not only been furnished with the power & gifts of the Holy Spirit, but liberally & abundantly supplied with all that is necessary for subsistence (Thayer’s Greek Lexicon). Key word: ALL!

Feeling unloved? You are Beloved in Christ.

Feel as though you don’t belong? You are God’s child; you belong to His family!

Feeling unworthy? You have already been Forgiven & washed clean, & your Father takes great delight in you!

Sick or afflicted? In need of a medical miracle? Your healing has already been provided for you, receive it today!

Feeling lonely in this thing called life? He is always with you, you are Never Alone.

You are a fearfully & wonderfully made masterpiece, made new in Christ, & set apart as His righteous saint, to bring glory to Him. He has handed you the victory over everything you could ever face in life. Walk boldy in your identity in Him, secure in the knowledge that your future is in His hands!

Next week, we’ll talk about what you can have & do in Christ, now that you know who you are in Him. In the meantime, my good friend Coppelia Marie has written a wonderful book, Whole, which shows us, through every book of the Bible, how we can live a whole life in Christ. I have truly enjoyed including a page or two of this book in my daily readings, & I hope that you will too!
