What girl doesn’t love spending hours scrolling on Pinterest, saving & pinning ideas for ways to decorate her home, outfits to wear, or crafts to make with her kids? Now, how many of us do this, but never actually make any of the crafts we pin? Isn’t it about time we brought our Pinterest boards to life?
If you’re in the Houston area & looking for something fun to do for a girls day this fall, you’ve got to check out the LifeSkills House‘s newest fundraising event, The Pin Expo. Grab your besties, sisters, daughters, aunts, cousins- any girls you love spending time with, & head out for a day of yoga, mimosas, shopping, & DIY heaven!
LifeSkills House exists to help young moms learn practical principles for personal growth & to achieve financial independence, & all proceeds from The Pin Expo will benefit this worthy cause (That is very close to my heart). Chelsea, a coordinator for LSH, explains why this event was chosen for fundraising: “Every young mom in our community should know how incredible she is, & that’s why we are changing up the way we fundraise. We want to showcase that value & worth we instill into our girls… we want an event that lifts women up.”

The Pin Expo will feature local business & vendors, ranging from décor to cooking, style & crafts. Arrive early at 9:30 for outdoor yoga hosted by Beatnik Studios, then swing by the coffee bar or mimosa bar & grab a drink to sip on while you get hands on at a Make & Take class. Afterwards, grab yourself a homemade lunch from the food bar & enjoy some shopping! It’s going to be a fun girls day out y’all!!
Just click on one of the links in this post for more info, girls of all ages are welcome! Get a VIP ticket & grab a swag bag filled with self care goodies & drink tickets for the mimosa bar 😉
